• In accordance with the Texas Administrative Code §341.606 each user must obtain a password to the system. Passwords must not be shared with the department employees or other persons.

• All information contained in JMIS is confidential and may be used or released only in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Family Code § 58.005 or other applicable law. Access to or distribution of information contained in JMIS is restricted to persons or agencies granted access to such information in accordance with Texas law. Release of information not in accordance with Texas law is not authorized.

• Dormant accounts are de-activated after 30 days.

• External users must change their password after 30 days.
